An inspirational story of heart, dedication, hard work, success and the love of Muay Thai!
Hello, my name is Wut, and this is my story:
Sawadee kup (hello),
At just eight years old, I embarked on an incredible adventure, training at Singpatong Gym in Phuket, dedicating five and a half hours each day to Muay Thai. My passion led me to my first fight after just two months, and I continued to compete every two weeks, earning the name Singsiam, or Thai Lion, while using my winnings to support my education.
When I was ten years old, I returned home to Trang, training relentlessly, I continued fighting under the name Komawut, or Blade Warrior. By the age of twenty, I had amassed over 100 fights and ranked third in South Thailand at 118lbs.
My journey took me to Bangkok. At just 22, I was competing at Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadiums, where my fights were broadcasted on Thai TV.
At age 25, I transitioned to teaching Muay Thai on stunning Phi Phi Island and Koh Lanta, all while continuing my fighting career. At 26, I proudly claimed the Championship belt at Ao Nung Stadium in Krabi.
Now, after years of training students from around the globe, I’ve brought my passion for Muay Thai to Australia, where I opened my first gym in 2020.
Join me as we explore the art of Muay Thai together!
Kob Khun Kup (thank you)
Wut 🙏
